“Every Parish, Every Voice: The Youth Legislature of Louisiana Expansion Campaign”
Each year, over 1,700 middle school students from diverse school settings across 13–15 parishes take part in one of eight two-day mock legislative sessions at the Louisiana Old State Capitol, stepping into roles that reflect the real structure of the Louisiana State Legislature—including legislators, committee chairs, media, and executive offices.
